What will you experience?

What is clay, sources, types.
Brief overview of pottery in India and globally.
Clay wedging technique.
3 sessions: Hand building (Pinching, Coiling, Slab) techniques in modelling structures.
1 session: Introduction to wheel pottery.
Glazing: Introduction + application

Fee: Rs.11,999/- per person (Includes all material)

Fired pieces (bisquiting of 4 pieces in total and 1 glazed piece of a certain size). All to be picked up at a later date.

Introduction to the Potters’ Wheel (Beginners)

Beginners | 8 sessions (2.5 months) | Weekend

Age group: 15yrs abv

Batch capacity: 6

What will you experience ?

Clay wedging methods
Steps of throwing a cylinder
Making multiple pieces
Form aesthetics
Introduction to glazing
Glaze application

Fee: Rs. 21,000/- per person (Includes all material and firing).

Fired pieces (bisquiting of 2 pieces in total and glaze firing of 2 Kulhads/ Tumblers of 4” each). All to be picked up at a later date. Any extra firing will be chargeable.

You also get!

A wheel throwing pottery tool kit & a knee length cotton apron for pottery.

One missed class (except the glazing session) can be re-scheduled (within 30 days from the day you skipped a session).

Advance Course in the Potters’ Wheel

Advance | 8 sessions (2.5 months) | Weekday & Weekend

Age group: 18yrs abv

Batch capacity: 6

One on one sessions to help you grow in your practise. We pick up from where you are! Walk with you through all the processes of clay making, hand and wheel work, developing your creative flair, firing and glazing. Basically, share all we know from our experience!

Fee: Rs. 21,000/- per person (Mentorship and studio rent. Includes 1 shelf space and basic tools. Clay, glazes, firing, tool sets, aprons and studio services as per charges.)

Kids Pottery Classes

Beginners and Advance | 4 sessions (renewed every 1 month) | Wednesday & Sunday

Age group: 6- 14yrs

How to prepare and recycle clay.
Brief overview of pottery in India and globally.
Introduction to wheel pottery.

How do we fire our pottery in the kiln.

As the kids keep working in clay, they learn all the processes gradually and develop:

Patience
Attention span
Observation skills
An artistic and relaxed self!

Fee: Rs. 5600/- per child (Inclusive of material and firing of 2 objects in Beginners. Advance sessions- 1 glazed piece per bundle.)
